A TERRIBLE DEAL!
Under current zoning regs, Willow Ridge redevelopment would add $7million in annual tax revenue –– a 9% increase in revenue to the Town.
But Belmont and the Board's plan to grab the property will cost the Town $40+ million, THEN $930,000 per year, EVERY YEAR!
WHY THIS MATTERS SO MUCH:
The Town of Harrison has spent many months trying to figure out how to prevent the sale of the failed Willow Ridge Country Club. After voting to seize the country club under eminent domain, this week, the Town Board will try to muster enough votes to pay $40+ million to enter the country club business with your money! That's reckless fiscal policy.
